- support social and emotional development and to provide positive guidance;
- establish positive and productive relationships with families;
- ensure a well-run, purposeful program that is responsive to participant needs;
- maintain a commitment to professionalism.

The Council’s model is a hybrid version of the CDA that combines a 120 online CDA course from teaching strategies with technical assistance for writing the required Professional Portfolio with a Child Care Council CDA Consultant for a total of 150 hours (for EIP funding information). There is rolling enrollment, so we are able to accommodate students as soon as they are ready to enroll.
