Participating elected officials includes: NYS Assemblypersons David Buchwald Sandra Galef, Shelley Mayer, Steven Otis, and Amy Paulin, and Westchester County Legislators Catherine Borgia, Mike Kaplowitz, Judith Meyers, and Michael Smith. The MC and panel moderator was Westchester Children’s Association Deputy Director Allison Lake.

Council board member Andrew Karlen Esq, Partner, Karlen & Stolzar, LLP and Westchester Children’s Association’s President, Catherine A. Draper, Attorney, welcomed the audience and introduced special guests. Kathy Halas, Council Executive Director, presented the public policy. The audience of 200+ plus heard Cora Greenberg, Executive Director of the Westchester Children’s Association, present a compelling statistical overview on Westchester’s young children and make a call to action, getting the audience to vow to make children’s causes a priority in 2013.
