Cecilia McKenney joined the Child Care Council of Westchester’s Board of Directors in 2004. From the start, she took an active role heading up the Council’s fundraising efforts.  With the support of other board members, she created several new fundraising events including a wine & cheese fundraiser and jazz night fundraiser. She greatly enhanced the success of our annual Awards Breakfast through a raffle drive. She implemented and hosted board / donor recruitment events, which resulted in new board members and an increase of donations for the Council. She is the consummate board member – professional, dedicated and a pleasure to work with. The Council would like to publicly thank her for her efforts on behalf of the Council, all the programs we support, and ultimately the children of Westchester County.
